The Village of Lexington, Ohio is seeking a dedicated individual to fill a vacant Council seat, starting immediately through December 2007. Persons seeking this appointment must be at least 18 years of age and be registered voter residing within the Village of Lexington for at least 18 months. Village Council will appoint someone to fill the un-expired term. Persons interested in this appointment should submit letters of interest and/or resumes to the Clerk of Council, 44 West Main Street, Lexington, Ohio 44904, or email [Click here for email] on or before October 25, 2006. To review the Village's Charter regarding Council, please contact Brenda Wilson at Village Hall. Council will review all applications and schedule interviews for candidates prior to October 16, 2006 and will likely take action to fill this vacancy at the October 16th meeting of Village Council.
