Technical Writer (ILS Tech)

Profitable, stable, growth oriented manufacturer of complex engineered products that are sold to the DOD is seeking a Technical Writer who has experience with Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) procedures. This person would prepare technical operation and maintenance manuals in accordance with governmental and commercial contract specifications.Responsibilities include reviewing contract technical and military specification requirements; obtaining the necessary data and coordinating work necessary with outside vendors, and assuring that all ILS contract obligations are met.The position is located in an affordable, family friendly community that is close by to large cities and offers many ammenities.
REQUIREMENTS
**Minimum of three years experience in technical writing with a background in blueprint reading and specifications**Working knowledge of ILS environment and experience with preparation of provisioning technical data (PTD)**Associates degree or equivalent experience, Bachelor's degree preferred**Familiarity with military specifications/subcontractor data review list (SDRL) requirements is a plus**Due to government contract requirements, Must be a U.S. Citizen
