THE VALDEZ POLICE DEPARTMENTis accepting applications for the position of Police Officer on a continual basis for
upcoming testing dates in November. Starting pay range of $44,667 - $55,106.74 DOE. Benefits include holiday and scheduled
overtime, excellent health benefits, and
participation in the PERS retirement program. The City of Valdez participates in 401(a) and 457(b) deferred compensation plans as well. Valdez Police Officers work 12-hour shifts on a 4 days on/ 4 days off rotation.
