SoftWare Integration Lead

Manages the planning, implementation, testing, documentation, and maintenance of enterprise-wide solutions to total system or subsystems using internally created and/or off the shelf products. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Directs the analyses and identification of all or part of a company's existing or new peripheral, network, and telecommunications systems requirements, taking into consideration the special technology needs. Oversees the establishment of functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem.

Responsible for leading cross-functional teams integrating large-scale, complex applications and systems for the Civilian Information Services Division. Knowledge of a wide variety of engineering functions such as software, systems, performance, security, infrastructure, and data engineering. Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills. Responsible for communicating and coordinating between all levels of the organization through Senior Management. May also be responsible for personnel management including interviewing, hiring, performance reviews, salary increases, coaching and counseling. Demonstrated Knowledge and experience implementing CMMI practices is required. Proven ability to produce quality technical documentation for systems during development and after release to production.
REQUIREMENTS
Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.

Must have: CMMI experience, Project Management, System Engineering functions

Not necessary but would like to have: Software development, Six Sigma knowledge
