Senior Web Application Engineer - J2EE - San Ramon

We enable consumers to pay government fees and taxes via telephone or Internet, using their credit cards. The company has contracts with the Internal Revenue Service, 26 states and over 2,000 municipalities nationwide. Official Payments Corporation is committed to making government payments go faster, smarter and safer.This individual would be responsible for design, development and implementation of Internet/Intranet applications. He/she will be accountable for coding, documenting, testing and launching client applications written in Java.
The successful candidate will be responsible for client and in-house software configuration as well as client interface via phone and/or e-mail during the development phase of all projects.
REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will have solid experience in design, development, and implementation of software applications preferably in an analogous entrepreneurial, growth-oriented company. He/she will have a minimum of 8 years web development/e-commerce application development in addition to the following: Struts, JSP, JMS, EJB, J2EE, XML, HTML, security, encryption, web services, JavaScript, SQL 2000 (clustered), Weblogic 7.0 in a clustered environment, Fiorano MQ Server, IIS, and Visual SourceSafe. Knowledge BEA Portal, ASP, Oracle, PERL, credit card transaction processing, Mercury Interactive QA tools is a plus.
