SRA is consistently recognized as an IT leader by clients, industry associations, and business and technology publications.Daily Responsibilities: A broad knowledge of civil rights and civil liberties issues confronting federal agencies when considering the use of emerging technologies such as:
Radio Frequency Identification
Biometrics
Surveillance and monitoring devicesWorking knowledge of federal government information processes including:
Paperwork Reduction Act
Privacy Act
National Archives and Records Administration data retention and destruction
Freedom of Information Act
Federal Information Security Management ActHelpful experience includes:
Reviewing proposed testimony, legislation, and speeches and recommending solutions for privacy and other civil rights and civil liberties issues identified
Drafting Privacy Impact Assessments
Work with federal guidelines regarding racial profiling
Work with Fourth or First Amendment issues
General knowledge of federal issues involved in the Information Sharing Environment (e.g., Privacy Act issues) Required: Years of experience (min) 7 Required: Degree Bachelors Required: Subject Law or related field
