Senior Planner - Current Planning

Coordinates the reviews commercial, industrial, and residential development (DRis, subdivisions and PUDs) for compliance with Lake County Land Development Regulations and Comprehensive Plan and prepares staff reports for presentation to the Zoning Board and BCC. Handles rezoning and conditional use permits and other projects as needed. Prepares reports and participates in Development Review meetings every Thursday. Works closely with citizens of the County on development projects and also answers phone calls and assista walk-ins when needed.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning, Public Administration, Landscape Architecture, Engineering or closely related field and three (3) years of professional planning experience; or any equivalent combination of related education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential job functions. Relevant experience should relate to Land Use Planning, Environmental Planning, Land Development, or related field.
