The Critical Care Therapy and Respiratory Care Section (CCTRCS) at the National Institutes of Health is in search of motivated certified and registered Respiratory Therapists to work in a unique and challenging environment. Our goal is to build upon a strong clinical background and use this knowledge to transcend routine/traditional respiratory care into an advanced practice. Unique activities include:

Indirect Calorimetry
Hemodynamic Monitoring
Bronchoscopy Assistance
Stat Laboratory
Research Protocol Support
Nitric Oxide Therapy
EKG/Holter Monitoring

As a member of the CCTRCS team you will receive a structured, individualized orientation, flexible schedule, weekly educational opportunities, participate in a multi-disciplinary approach to patient care and share the opportunity to contribute to medical and behavioral research. This position is an Indefinite Appointment in the Excepted Service under Title 42. Salary is commensurate with experience and accomplishments. A valid respiratory practitioner license is required.
