The software is the market leading inquiry tool for JD Edwards (PeopleSoft/Oracle) World and One World customers and caters to accountants using financial modules. The company currently has over 185 customers.Who We Are Looking For:We are currently accepting applications for a full-time Product Specialist in our Denver, Colorado office. While our products are quick and easy to install and intuitive to use, the need to provide high quality support is increasing. Our ideal candidate will enjoy wearing many hats and have an upbeat, outgoing personality. A proven track record as an excellent trainer and consultant (internal or external) is required. Additionally, you must possess a desire to 'dig in' and be involved in a small company where there is opportunity for growth and promotion. The overall objectives for a Product Specialist are: 1) to increase customer satisfaction; 2) to promote customer retention; 3) to ensure that customers know how to use the features of our product and 3) to reduce customer dependency on The GL Company support staff.As a Product Specialist, you will:
•Travel to client sites to deliver high quality training on The GL Company products to enable our customers to get the most out of our products.
•Develop and maintain training materials using Microsoft applications like Word and Publisher (attention to detail is vital)
•Provide product consultancy to customers by phone, web and on site.
•Contribute to the overall development of our products with your ideas, suggestions and creative input.
REQUIREMENTS
Required Candidate Skills/Experience:
•College degree in Accounting, General Business, IS or equivalent work experience.
•Minimum 3 years’ experience implementing/supporting/using JDE Financials (World and/or One World) (Other terms: PeopleSoft Enterprise One, Oracle JD Edwards World or One World).
•MUST have JDE experience.
•Minimum of 2 years’ classroom training experience.
•Excellent presentation and classroom management skills.
•Ability to quickly learn new software products.
•Strong verbal and written communications skills.
•Proven customer service interaction.
•Willingness to travel 30-50%.
•Working knowledge of GAAP.
•Experience as a Business Analyst, Implementation Consultant, Pre-Sales Technician, JDE Trainer, etc. would typically be a good foundation for this role.•GOOD SENSE OF HUMOR.Preferred Candidate Skills/Experience:
•Experience implementing/using non-JDE ERP systems including Oracle and/or SAP Financials.
•CPA or other accounting credentials.Fine Print:
