Seeking a candidate with excellent oral, written communication, and negotiation skills that considers themselves an independent worker that has a good attitude toward dealing with deadlines and pressure situations. A candidate that is detailed oriented as well as a team player with the ability to juggle multiple assignments at various stages of completion and importance.

-Participates in and or conducts pricing, pricing strategy, pricing cost narrative, risk assessment, business case analysis and related cost proposal activities in support of proposal and/or new business efforts in accordance with company policies, legal requirements and customer requirements.

-Examines Request for Proposal (RFP) and prepares cost proposals in Excel using schedules and/or disclosed costing data based on company policy in compliance with FAR, CAS and sector/business unit disclosure statements.

-Facilitates pricing review sessions and provides pricing guidance to proposal and capture teams to ensure that pricing strategy is completed in accordance with sector and/or business unit policies and procedures.

-Develops cost/price models using Excel for cost estimating elements.

-Prepares cost reports and presents findings to management, contract personnel, proposal and capture teams, customer representatives, price auditors, vendors, and subcontractors.

-Regularly contributes to the development of new concepts, techniques and standards. Considered expert in field within the organization.

-Develops solutions to complex problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation.

-Ensures solutions are consistent with organization objectives.

-Individual must be able to effectively interact with all levels of Line Management and other functional organizations.




job Requirements


-Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree preferred.
Significant years 9 (Level 4) of experience in developing price proposals in a government contracting/IT environment

-Good understanding of and ability to interpret RFP requirements
Knowledge of cost estimating techniques

-Full understanding FAR, CAS and Government Contracting regulations

-Must be available for unscheduled extended work hours and non-standard workweeks as required for proposal deadlines

-Must be able to travel (minimal)

-Experience in developing successful "price-to-win" bid values

-Significant experience in services (labor) pricing

-Significant experience in GSA Schedules, GWACs, ID/IQ contracts, BPAs, delivery order and task order proposal pricing

-Experience in International pricing desirable

-Experience with the Service Contract Act and Wage Determinations

-Experience interfacing with DCAA and other audit agencies

-Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
