Notice is hereby given that a written examination will be given within the next ninety (90) days to approved applicants for the purpose of establishing a competitive employment list in accordance with provisions of the municipal fire and police civil service law and rules of the Shreveport Municipal Fire and Police Civil Service Board for:

Police Officer
Jailer I
Police Communication
Officer

Each applicant must file a complete application form on or before
October 6, 2006 at 505 Travis Street, Suite 530,
Shreveport, LA 71101.
A five (5) day notice will be mailed to those approved for admission that will state the date, time, and place of the examination. Applicants must meet all qualifications of the Municipal Fire and Police Civil Service Law, including being a citizen of the United States and
passing a Civil Service examination for the position.
