Military Police (MPs) in the Wyoming Army National Guard are Soldiers who supervise or provide support to the battlefield by conducting battlefield circulation control, area security, prisoner of war operations, civilian internee operations, law and order operations on the battlefield and support to the peacetime Army community through security of critical resources, crime prevention programs and preservation of law and order. The MP performs as a team member in support of battlefield operations, installation law and order operations and security of key resources, installations and infrastructure.
The Wyoming Army National Guard is an elite group of warriors who dedicate a portion of their time to serving their nation. Guard members train part-time to be ready full-time, should their state or nation call them to serve. Guard members have a long and noble history of serving at home and abroad to ensure the safety and freedom of their fellow citizens.
