ORANGE COUNTY PROBATION DEPARTMENT is actively seeking qualified individuals for the following position: DEPUTY JUVENILE CORRECTIONAL OFFICER I Graveyard Shift ($15.38 per hr/plus 77 cents shift differential) You will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of confined juveniles during the late evening/early morning hours. Experience working with juveniles is preferred but not required. Opportunities for career path growth and promotion are available within the department. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS Candidates must be at least 20 years of age, a U.S. citizen or have applied and qualified for citizenship; have a high school degree or equivalent, pass a background investigation, medical and psychological exam and must not be on any form of probation.
