PARKS & RECREATION ASSOCIATE

·Responsible for planning and implementation of various programs related to aquatic and fitness areas that are revenue producing and customer friendly·Maintain facility rules and guidelines for safety and patron well being; adhere to HRS established policy·Instruct classes in community water safety; maintain records/reports·Performs maintenance as required for public swimming pools and surrounding facilities·Provide customer service and assistance at the administrative offices.
REQUIREMENTS
High school graduation or equivalent and one year of related experience or two years of college coursework in Recreation. MUST HAVE CURRENT CERTIFICATIONS AT TIME OF APPLICATION issued by the American Red Cross or HRS approved in Lifeguard Training, CPR Infant/Child and Adult, Standard First Aid, AED/Oxygen Administration and Water Safety Instructor. (Current enrollment in WSI class with passing average will be acceptable.) Water skills test may be administered in accordance with LGT and Red Cross standards as a measure for qualifying.
