Operations Research Manager, Senior

Key Role: Represent Modeling, Simulation, Wargaming, and Analysis (MSWA) team service offerings to various offices supporting Air Force Materiel Command, Air Force Product Centers, including ESC, SMC, and ASC, Air Force Research Labs, and other Joint and USAF material development organizations. Engage potential customers to develop and realize new market opportunities for MSWA service offerings. Manage programs to support DoD and civil government agencies, and analyze operational capability issues related to IT functionality, integration, and interoperability issues. Develop, refine, and apply a variety of analytical methods as needed. Determine the needs of potential customers and methods of tailoring MSWA service offerings to meet those needs. Apply enterprise architecture principles in establishing and representing baseline capability demands. Analyze science and technology investments and resources to determine the most effective and efficient plans for improving military operational and business capabilities.



Job Requirements













Basic Qualifications:


-10+ years of experience with government or industry, including military organizational


-5+ years of experience with operations research analysis, including decision support analysis, modeling and simulation, C4ISR program and architecture analysis, operational concepts, capability requirements, or the DoD acquisition process


-2+ years of experience with analyzing and improving operational and business processes


-BA or BS degree


-US Secret Clearance





Additional Qualifications:


-MA, MS, or MBA preferred


-Experience with market development, sales, and program management


-Ability to show Defense Acquisition University training or certification


-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills


-Possession of excellent presentation, listening, and problem solving skills
