Working with a multidisciplinary team, provides medication services to adults and children in Medication Clinic. In addition, the incumbent will provide clinical assessments; individual, group and family counseling; case management; and education to seriously mentally ill adults.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications: Any combination of education, experience, and training equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with a master’s degree in nursing, psychology, social work, or a related field; PLUS two years of professional experience in mental health nursing.

Special Requirements: The appointee to this position will be required to complete a criminal background check to the satisfaction of employer. TB screening upon hire and annually thereafter. Must be licensed in one of the following: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Clinical Psychologist, Clinical Nurse Specialist (RNCS) or APRN-Psych.

Preferred Qualifications: Possession of a current license to practice as a Nurse (RN) in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Foreign language is a plus.
