As a medical student: Get over $180,000 to pay tuition costs while finishing medical school – along with a monthly stipend of $1,279 to cover living expenses.

As a medical resident: Get more than $160,000 to pay off student loans and cover living expenses during a typical four-year residency. That’s an annual grant of $27,003 paid directly to you on top of your normal salary – plus a monthly stipend of $1,279.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
This is an Active Duty position as a Navy Medical Corps Physician. To qualify for employment consideration, you must meet the following requirements:



Must be a U.S. citizen

Must have graduated from an eligible medical school accredited by the AMA or the AOA

Must have completed one year of graduate school in a program approved by the AMA or AOA (interns currently in training may also apply)

Must have a current state medical license within one year of entering the Navy Medical Corps

Must be willing to serve a minimum of three years of Active Duty

Must be capable of completing 20 years of Active Duty service prior to age 62

Must be in good physical condition and pass a full medical examination
