Manager, Government Relations

With our continuous growth, we are seeking a Manager of Government Relations.This experienced professional will have demonstrated lobbying experience and a solid track record of accomplishments to serve as the federal representative for a leading information technology and professional services corporation.
Additional responsibilities include:
Assist in the development and implementation of company's positions on key legislative and public policy issues.
Assist in facilitating the interpretation and understanding of the implications of federal legislation and regulation.
Assist in the development of regulatory comments, legislative testimony, action alerts and updates, and educational pieces.
Foster strong relationships with key Administration and Congressional offices and facilitate company's interactions with the information technology and professional services industry trade leaders and associations.
Promote grassroots advocacy among members and manage the Political Action Committee.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have 7+ years related experience in a large corporate environment in Government Relations.
Must have superior written and oral communication skills, the desire and readiness to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic industry, and the ability to maintain high business standards and resolve issues without compromising critical principles.
Existing political relationships, ability to talk to large groups and manage small groups. Advanced knowledge in navigating political landscapes, familiarity with corporate environments, experience in state or federal legislative offices, a proven consensus-building history, and an eagerness to work on a constantly changing playing field.We offer an excellent compensation package that is highly competitive with the marketplace.
