Legislative Grants Technician

Key Role: Provide full-time program management support for a US Department of Homeland Security client responsible for developing and administering homeland security preparedness grant programs and initiatives. Work in a dynamic client environment and provide program planning, grant life cycle management, and support services for potentially all aspects of homeland security grant programs. Support the achievement of key program goals, objectives, and milestones and contribute functional expertise to client deliverables.



Job Requirements













Basic Qualifications:

-Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook


-BA or BS degree




Additional Qualifications:

-1+ years of experience with consulting or a related field

-Ability to obtain a security clearance at the public trust, including US Secret clearance


-Knowledge of the Department of Homeland Security and emergency preparedness


-Knowledge of federal grant guidance and applications


-Ability to show professionalism


-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills


-Possession of excellent time management and client service skills
