The Defense Intelligence Agency provides military intelligence information to warfighters, defense policymakers and force planners in the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community.

We have immediate opportunities for Intelligence Officers on a full-time basis.

DIA Intelligence Officers serving in the areas of analysis or collection gather and analyze intelligence on global events. They work closely with other Intelligence Officers around the world to produce intelligence products for US military forces and for decision-makers within DIA and throughout Government.

Typical Intelligence Officer assignments include analysis of:

military capabilitiessciences and technologies with warfare potentialgovernments and policiestransportation systems and networksair defense and missile systemscommunications and information technology systemsforeign healthcare capabilities and trendsforeign economic systems

Assignments also include providing intelligence in support of operational military and crisis-related requirements related to counterintelligence and counterterrorism type situations..
REQUIREMENTS
Intelligence Officer qualifications:

You must have intelligence-related experience and a bachelor’s or advanced degree from an accredited college or university.

Fields of study must include:
political scienceregional studiesinternational affairsgeographyeconomicsengineeringphysical or life sciencesor another appropriate fields

Foreign language skills are highly desired.

You must meet U.S. citizenship requirements and successfully complete an extensive security background investigation and drug testing. All DIA employees are subject to random polygraph testing.

Please note that most positions are located in and around Washington, DC and may require frequent temporary duty travel.
