Scope:
Selected candidates will be responsible for independent work in maintaining & continuing development of the City of Vineland's: GIS system, electronic Land Parcel database, and electronic tax maps. Individual selected will head the City's GIS Steering Committee.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Geography, or Environmental Science including or supplemented by 12 semester hours credits in computer mapping/GIS which shall have included spatial programming and digital imaging processing.
Experience:
Candidates must have working knowledge and experience with ESRI GIS systems, AutoCAD, SQL, and various other imaging programs. Self motivation and the capability to work independently are essential. Experience with OS/400 operating system and Windows client/server environment helpful but not a must
Benefits:
Salary range is $30,204.00- $42,339.00
