Our investigative reports assist clients with a variety of information needs including -- due diligence for investment/financing transactions, mergers, acquisitions and other business ventures; employment and professional license screening; credit evaluations; litigation support; business intelligence; asset searches; and special investigations.
Business/legal investigator and writer to conduct background investigations and prepare written reports of findings to corporate clients. Research and gather information from legal and financial public records, Internet web sites, government records, subscriber and proprietary databases, media publications and other sources for background data on individuals and businesses. Verify the backgrounds and credentials of individuals. Conduct interviews of references and sources. Investigations conducted nationwide and worldwide. Analyze the results and assemble the information from a wide variety of sources into a written summary background report profiling an individual and their business for major business investment/financing transactions and other purposes.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree (4-year degree) preferableDemonstrated research and writing abilities and experience, preferably in a business or legal environment
Investigative, legal and/or research experience a plus
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Detail oriented with good organizational abilities
Journalistic curiosityAbility to work independently within a team environment
Strong computer skills and Internet search engine knowledge required
