AF C2ISR Liaison to USJFCOM

Provide specialized technical advice and assistance services to the Air Force Command and Control, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Center (AFC2ISRC) Joint Programs and Initiatives (CTJ). Services are focused on providing liaison support between US Joint Forces Command (USJFCOM) and the Air Force; keeping abreast of joint concept and capabilities development and transformation; providing influence to support AF missions and capability requirements.RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Responsible for:
Providing liaison between AFC2ISRC and USJFCOM/J8/J9 and others as required to stay abreast of emerging and evolving joint concepts, strategies, technologies and employment
Providing technical and analytical support for the requirements/capabilities definition, architecture development and experimentation relative to force provider support to joint mission and exercises
Providing authoritative advice and technical assistance with concept and capabilities development for Air Force and Joint systems and processes and integration of systems
Analyzing evolving and emerging joint C2ISR capabilities, transformational strategies, technologies, architectures and implementation concepts for soundness and applicability to Air Force C2ISR missions, tactics, techniques and procedures
Identifying capabilities and capability shortfalls, and possible candidate solutions
Providing test and exercise support to include after action reporting to analyze and prove operational capabilities and integration with supporting and supported systems
Advocating and influencing Air Force positions at technical exchange meetings, capability development forums and configuration control boards
Reviewing and analyzing other C2ISR systems and concepts for C2 Constellation capability impact - identifying shortfalls, inconsistencies, and integration/transformation requirements
Developing executive staff briefings, background papers, correspondence and decision points
Drafting technical reports and performing trade studiesMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Degree Requirements:
Bachelors DegreeRelevant Experience (amount and type):
Five (15) years experience with C2ISR concept, requirements and systems development
Two (3) years experience working joint integration issues and/or systems
Familiarity with USJFCOM mission, structure and programs
Must have a strong working understanding of Net-Centric concepts and capabilities
Understanding of the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Must be able to work complex problems in a dynamic environment with minimal supervisionPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
