Swank Audio Visuals serves and supports the meeting and event industry. Our in-house operation partners with many prominent hotels in over 45 major cities and 24 states across the United States. Swank maintains fully equipped, staffed offices in hotel properties to provide audio visual professional presentation equipment to exceed the needs of the hotel and its clients. Every year, we continue to add new hotels to our operations.

Swank is seeking Project Manager for our Event Services Division. This position is responsible for the ongoing scheduling and utilization of union technical support personnel for shows, conferences and events. This position is responsible for balancing workload and resources through a prioritization process which includes the deployment of direct Swank technicians for high profile Clients and critical events. This position operates in a fast moving, rapidly changing, high stress work environment. This candidate will be traveling.

Swank Audio Visuals' Event Services is based in St. Louis, Missouri and in Phoenix, Arizona, and brings audio visual staff and equipment to our larger, non-hotel customers for major event destinations, such as conventions or national sales meetings. We work with clients from planning to execution to ensure a perfect meeting.

This is a critical position to the Event Services business which requires a high level of commitment, flexibility and willingness to embrace change. Additionally, communication skills and experience in working with unions and union personnel are critical. The Event Services - Phoenix business is part of the Swank Audio Visuals Company. The focus of this business is the pursuit of excellence and the delivery of 'flawless' audio visual products and services. The client base incorporates leading edge, high performance companies and organizations.

The Technical Support Manager reports to the Director of Event Services and interfaces directly with Project Managers, Account Executives, Leadership and Team Members of the Event Services business as well as individuals within the Swank Audio Visuals Company.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience:
Personal, proven experience in the setup and execution of audiovisual events in accordance with professional experience and Client specifications
Experience in successfully interacting with unions and other collective groups in the execution of client shows, conferences and events
Proven experience in developing relationships with technicians, Clients, sales personnel, senior management, and work teams
Demonstrated service orientation in exceeding Clients' needs and expectations
Ability to delegate work in a way which builds commitment and opportunity for others
Build enrollment and commitment by others in support of business needs
Work as part of a team
Understand Clients' perspective
Excellent organizational and multi tasking skills
Five years of experience working in supporting audio visual events
Five experience working with unions and working in a team oriented environment
Proven ability to build consensus and enrollment of others in support of business needs
