Electro-Mechanical Assembler
Using the appropriate specifications, assemble, wire and solder limited electrical and mechanical assemblies in accordance with the workmanship standard under which the s/c was sold. Position requires use of hand tools, power tools, and soldering irons in order to complete product of good quality. Principle Accountabilities: Efficient, accurate electronic and mechanical assembly to specification, and meet or exceed deadlines. Follow verbal instructions on the traveler or written operations sheet. Complete required information on traveler and sign off when required. (Very important)Solder wire to wire, wire to PCB, and wire to component, component to PCB, connector to wire and other general solder skills. Training of lower level employees on most activities, and ability to trouble shoot problems with little direction. Follow verbal instruction of the production lead, supervisor or designated trainer. Perform in process testing of product to EAD standards. Maintain personal work area to meet company safety, environmental and good housekeeping guidelines. Follow security standards as set forth by security officer.

Qualifications:
Requires two or more years of electronic assembly experience with demonstrated soldering skills.
Must be able to read and write Basic English, perform basic math, comprehend instructions, and verbally communicate in the English language.
Must be able to read and understand assembly prints, parts list, wiring diagrams and wiring lists. Schematic familiarity and understand part numbers, polarity designations, color codes, etc. Completion of high school preferred. Working Conditions: Generally working in a production environment. Manual dexterity required. Bending, stooping and lifting performed daily. Capable of lifting 35 pounds from floor to bench.
Must show adaptability to work in a team atmosphere. Semi-repetitive work assignments, which may at times, require use of company supplied glove, safety glasses, and other personal protective equipment.
Exposure to dust, dirt, chemical solvents, solder, and flux possible.
