Electrical & Instrumentation Technician

The position requires general labor, material handling, and transporting materials. Requires dexterity, assisting machine operators as needed. Heavy pushing and pulling; staging product in inspection or shipping areas. General mechanical skills required.
Drug Screen, Physical, & Background check required. Responsible for verifying the accuracy of product prepared for shipment and meeting customer requirements for shipment. May be required to lift up to and including 50 lbs. and will be exposed to working conditions normally associated with a factory or warehouse (i.e. standing, sitting, reaching, moving about, temperature changes, etc.). Responsible for maintaining a safe and clean working environment. Candidate will be responsible for the installation and repair of electrical and instrumentation equipment in a large industrial complex. Ability to read, write, do arithmetic; Must have good eye-hand coordination; Basic computer knowledge; Electric, gas and manual lift truck experience preferredHigh school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent; Forklift certification preferred but not required Journeyman electrical and instrumentation certification required.3-5 Years durable industrial work experience.
Experience with installation and repair of electrical and instrumentation equipment in an industrial environment preferably with paper manufacturing machinery.
