Georgia's largest private owner and operator of water and sewer systems. Owns and operates 70 systems for ten thousand customers including premier golf communities and resorts. Founded in 1992, company has met water services demand through high but steady growth. Future new business growth projections are 12% annual. Services include pipeline construction, engineering design, system O&M, well development, acquisitions and system and plant management. Company enjoys a low turnover rate, offers a competitive compensation program and provides relocation assistance. Headquartered in Atlanta with its operations office between Atlanta and Augusta.

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Director of Operations, Water and Sewer. Manage the day-to-day activities of company operations including system O&M, water supply and wastewater collection and treatment and administration. Reports to the company President and Chief Operating Officer with 5 to 6 direct reports. Eligible for performance bonus. Responsible for:

· Management oversight of all water and wastewater systems. Budgeting. Establish and implement policies and procedures. Assure water quality and quantity meets or exceeds company and regulatory requirements. Departmental staffing. Assure adequate supply of spare parts and equipment. Work with senior management regarding employment issues, hiring, discipline, performance appraisal and salary administration.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Preferably a graduate engineer or a person with a strong technical background, who has intimate knowledge of the water wastewater business and who has held a senior operations management position in the water and sewage industry. Qualities include:

· High energy level A team leader who mentors, coaches, develops, and manages the business units. Good oral, written and interpersonal skills. Relates well with customers and communities. Thorough knowledge and understanding of the water wastewater industry. Certified class 1 licensed in state of residence, water and sewer. Ability to quickly identify problems and produce a plan for proper, efficient, timely and expedient rectification and resolution. Computer literate.
