· Provide direction, vision, coordination and practical expertise to provide state of the art risk management practices Develop corporate risk policies and standards and establish risk limits for business units and support functions in addition to producing an overall risk portfolio assessment and coordinate the reporting of the organization's risk profile to senior management Conveys risk management policies, procedures, roles and responsibilities to business units and educates business units and functional department risk managers in the principles and techniques of risk management Defines the organization's risk appetite in terms of loss tolerance, risk capital and target debt rating Reviews capital requests and other capital commitments over $5 million, ensuring all requests incorporate accepted corporate risk management processes Evaluates the Company's annual and five-year capital program ensuring the allocation of capital, on a risk-adjusted basis, is consistent with the corporation's strategic plan, industry standards and established best practices Evaluates risk mitigation plans and assists line and staff management in their development of mitigation plans, benchmarking against industry standards and best practices

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting is required; an MBA is preferred 10+ years experience in finance, planning or risk management within the energy industry or other capital-intensive process industries Knowledge of the energy transmission, distribution and marketing industries, their value chain and key industry issues Must have excellent communication skills Demonstrated proficiency in various computer applications including, MS Office
