Cross Connection, Industrial PreTreatment Supervisor

This position can be located in Phoenix, AZ or Sacramento, CA

Responsible for the protection of the water supply once the water exits the treatment facilities. Develops programs and implements them in the Business Units to ensure compliance with Environmental/Water Quality regulations relating to Cross Connections and Backflow Prevention.


Responsible for implementation of Industrial Pre-Treatment programs, Capacity Management Operation, and Maintenance programs at wastewater operations throughout the region. Implements these programs in the Business Units to ensure compliance with Environmental regulations and company best practices.
REQUIREMENTS
Two (2) to Five (5) years experience in distribution system operations and wastewater collection systems operations.


Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Science or related science is preferred.

Ability to obtain certification as Cross Connection Control Specialist by USC or AWWA within one year of employment
Certification as backflow prevention assembly general tester
