Blender

BlenderExcellent company on the East side of town, near The Highlands, is searching for a qualified Blender. This individual will be responsible for blending products to meet customer specifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Records measurements and calculates total and incremental tank capacities to prepare gauging tables
Measures tank using liquid calibration methods
Turns valves to admit measured quantities of liquid from tank container into other tank containers
Takes temperature, samples, and records type of measurements
Verifies correct materials used and correct set-up
Fills out blend report
Samples bulk material from trucks, drums and bags
Unloads/Loads trucks, barges and rail cars
Straps tanks and updates strap report
Fills out load in/load out reports
Maintains blend log Clean tanks and performs preventative maintenance as required by Supervisor
Generates deionized water and recharges unit
Trains helpers
Uses forklift to stage raw materials and unload into blend tank
Transfers product between tanks, and into tanks from rail cars and trucks
Ensures ISO related tasks and associated paperwork are complete
