Assembler, Multi-department

ADB Industries is seeking a Multi-Departmental Assembler who has mechanical aptitude and has strong verbal communication skills. Your work will be directed by the department supervisor and will relate to engineering drawings, specifications, and internal company procedures.

Job Overview:
You will prepare, assemble and dip braze parts. You will also use air tools, jigs and tooling for detail prep and installation of aerospace fasteners (i.e. thread inserts, nut plates, rivets, etc.). A strong eye for detail and good manual dexterity are necessary. Cross training is key to ADB’s success and you may be required to perform other duties outside of these departments. The person who will be the right fit for this job will be able to work as a team member.


Requirements:

All eligible candidates must:

1.Have at least 5 years experience in mechanical assembly, preferably in the aerospace industry.
2.Be able to lift 35 pounds and meet physical requirements.
3.Must be able to be available to work overtime during the week and Saturdays.
4.Speak English clearly and be able to communicate effectively.
5.Have a high school diploma (or equivalent).
6.Be a U.S. citizen or permanent legal resident.


Compensation:

Company Info:
ADB Industries is a small aerospace manufacturing company located in Burbank, CA. We currently have one shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) with some overtime. We are a job shop that produces parts for aerospace, defense and commercial clients. We have on-going, repeat contracts that keep us busy, but we also get new parts in all the time that challenge our employees’ abilities and critical thinking skills. The work environment is fast-paced and exciting.
