Trade Operations Specialist

Business Unit: GE CorporateFunction: OperationsResponsibilities: Large fixed income and equity investment operations department is seeking individuals to support traders and portfolio managers in daily trade processing and settlement. Daily interaction with executing brokers, custodians and finance teams. Exposure to security/portfolio analytics. Will be involved in ongoing infrastructure and technology improvement projects, including training in GE's six sigma quality program. Excellent opportunity to learn business.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: * Undergraduate degree or 4 years of work experience and high school diploma
Proven self-starter
Work well under pressure of daily deadlines
Ability to work in team environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proven end-user computer skills
Strong organizational skills
