Site Supervisor

Business Unit: GE Infrastructure, EnergyFunction: ServicesResponsibilities: Provide the overall management skills and technical guidance over the Sky River and VG Phase IV site teams. Will be responsible for all site personnel and will assure that these personnel receive adequate review of their work progress, safety instruction as well as technical training. Must maintain appropriate liaison with management and other departments as needed. Candidate must meet contractual O&M reporting obligations, and will be responsible for the Project operating a P&L entity.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: *Requires a minimum of four year college degree / technical school certificate, or 4+ years of related experience or wind industry training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have or be able to obtain a valid driver's license.
Acceptable driving record.
Ability to climb steel towers up to 240'.
Spare parts inventory experience.
Customer service mind set.Desired: *Wind turbine maintenance, repair and operations experience.General: *Word processing, spreadsheet processing, e-mail programs, facility control and management systems and computerized diagnostic and troubleshooting tools.
This position is located near Tehachapi, CA.
