SENIOR PRODUCER

Jupiterimages Corp. is the world’s third-largest producer and distributor of stock imagery and has ongoing projects for development and enhancement of its products and Web sites.
The Senior Producer is responsible for initiating, managing, monitoring and communicating progress on Jupiterimages projects and for coordinating the activities of participating teams to ensure that projects are completed effectively and on schedule.

Description:
The Senior Producer works with management, project “business owners,” development teams and others to conceive, track and manage projects and initiatives. Needs to be aggressive in obtaining information critical to current projects.

Duties of this position include:
·Evaluate proposed projects to ensure that they meet business objectives and to help establish their relative priority
·Understand the business goals & project ideals thoroughly to assess requirements of the project, the stages involved, the milestones and the specific deliverables
·Create & document the business requirements for projects in conjunction with “business owners” and communicate those to departments responsible for delivering components of those projects.
·Create and maintain project plans based on project requirements, available resources and company priorities. Work with team leaders to identify critical milestones and ensure timely delivery.
·Assure that new features/sites are being developed in accordance with business requirements and that all departments deliver their components in a timely fashion
·Obtain information and approvals from participants necessary to keep projects on track
·Monitor overall project/task timelines and report on progress. Help ensure that problems are identified early and that resource decisions can be made to address those problems.
·Offer new process ideas based on past experience
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
·Three years or more of product management and/or project management experience
·Several years experience in developing, managing and operating commercially successful Web sites and/or other projects.
·Solid track record of successfully developing products & projects from start to completion
·Strong interpersonal skills and ability to stay focused in high-pressure situations
·Outstanding organizational skills
·Ability to multi-task and process information expeditiously
Strong computer skills
