Position: SAP FI/CO Business Systems Anslyst

Location: South San Jose

Duration: Permanent, fulltime position

Position Responsibilities:
Provide ongoing production support for SAP FI/CO users in North America and Asia
Gather, understand and document business requirements and user needs
Develop and deploy SAP FI/CO solutions. Responsibilities include solution design, development , testing, reviewing the solution with internal audit for audit compliance, project management, documentation, training and organizational change management
Suggest viable SAP FI/CO solutions to address user requirements. Put together implementation proposals that are in accordance with government standards. Work with initiative managers to obtain funding for the project.
As as SAP FI/CO subject matter expert, provide advice to business users and other members of the SAP team

Required skills, knowledge and abilities:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
SAP release 4.6C experience. Additional experience with higher version is a plus.
4-5 yrs configuration experience with SAP Finance and/or SAP Controlling modules
Strong SAP knowledge in at least three of the following areas: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cost Center Accounting, Product Cost Accounting or Profit Center Accounting
Strong knowledge of SAP FI/CO integration with other modules, especially MM and SD
REQUIREMENTS
