NCBDC, Senior Policy Analyst

Team: Community Solutions GroupNature & Scope: This position will provide 1) substantive long-term care policy and program expertise and 2) daily project management to fulfill CSG's contract responsibilities under state and other contracts. Daily project management responsibilities (including administrative duties) include policy analysis, project team facilitation, implementation, and communication with the client (coordination, work product review, client direction), coordination of work done by subcontractors, and other duties as required. This position will also be responsible for assisting NCBDC in expanding into other areas of long-term care.Responsibilities Include: Manage and contribute substantively to the completion of state contracts in California, Louisiana, Alabama and Oklahoma. Create required work product as assigned. Serve as the liaison between CSG and: the client, subcontractors to the project, and other interested parties (e.g., stakeholders, media). Facilitate meetings and communication; conduct research; delegate and accept responsibilities for work product; ensure the successful and timely completion of deliverables; implement tasks required under the contracts; maintain a highly organized file system of all related materials. (60%)Help NCBDC strategize expansion into new areas of long-term care and implement new and existing projects. (25%)Help NCBDC increase the number of states in which it provides technical assistance on affordable assisted living. (15%
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications: 1.Ten or more years of direct or related experience in successful public policy and programs related to housing and services for seniors and/or people with disabilities. Excellent understanding of public policy as it relates to long-term care, including relevant government subsidy programs such as Medicaid, service programs, and regulations.2.Basic understanding of real estate development and services operations a plus.3.At least a masters or comparable professional advanced degree in public policy, government, geriatrics, health care, housing, planning, or law.4.Abilities:
