Functional Area: Human ResourcesPosition Description: Analyzes and determines leadership training needs of the company; formulates and develops plans, procedures, and programs to meet specific training needs and problems
Delivers/facilitates management training programs
Develops and constructs training manuals and training aids or may supervise their Delivers/facilitates management training programs construction by subordinates or outside vendors. Manages Leaderhip Development Instructor staff. Utilizes and/or oversees vendors to develop and/or administer in-house training programs. Keeps abreast of training and development research (e.g., learning theory, motivation theory, and new materials, techniques, and methods)
REQUIREMENTS
Union: YesEducation: Bachelors DegreeExperience: 2 - 3 yearsPosition Requirements: Undergraduate degree or equivalent training/experience
At least 2 years of direct supervisory experience
In-depth knowledge of leadership behaviors and competencies
Demonstrated ability to assess training needs and develop the appropriate training courses/materials
Fundamental understanding of effective organization and management practices
Demonstrated ability to interface with all levels of employees and divisions within a company
Overall understanding of the airline industry
Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
Professional communication style
Excellent facilitation and formal presentation skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
