Manager Business Development I

Overview: There is an opening for a Business Development Manager for INTEQ.Responsibilities:
Develops and implements strategic and tactical marketing plans for introduction of GeoScience business into new geographic area and/or introduction of new GeoScience business into already established area. Assures strategies are consistent with overall objectives of the organization. Works closely with Global Sales, Regional Staff, and external customers to promote LWD and applications specific GeoScience capabilities. Involvement in Tender team for major contracts where FE representation is required. Provides input to Applications Engineering and PL with new product opportunities and customer specific application requirements. Conducts external technical training sessions to customers in various markets around the globe that are applications specific in nature. Involved in planning and execution in introduction of new technology rollouts within the Regions. Prioritizes product opportunities to maximize sales and profits. Monitors and evaluates programs and expenditures. Will supervise personnel and handles special projects, as assigned.Posted: 6/27/2006

REQUIREMENTS
Thorough understanding of customer requirements and market conditions. Thorough understanding of products/systems. Good business acumen. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Commitment to customer service and ability to work in team-oriented environment. 8+ years work experience in marketing or operations; work experience to include basic log analysis capabilities / some advanced log analysis capabilities. Preference to have understanding and experience with WL & LWD data; LWD experience will be considered a significant plus. Profound understanding of customer applications for log data, and experience working closely with customer.
