F/T Accounting Clerk

Bob Smith BMW is a highly successful auto dealership in Calabasas, CA, with a longstanding tradition of satisfying our customers. Another tradition we have is in hiring professional, energetic, and talented people who are also friendly and courteous to help keep those customers satisfied.

We have an opportunity in our Business Office for a full-time Accounting Clerk who possesses these qualities, and also is interested in performing the following duties:

Posting Entries to our Accounting Journals

Reconciling one or more Accounting schedules on a monthly basis
Socking in inventory
Tacking down receivables
Assisting the Business manager with the month-end closing process(es)
Rsearching deals or records that are in question
Other data entry work

We are especially looking for someone who has a demonstrated track record of accuracy and a solid understanding of Accounting practice.

Experience in the auto industry is preferred.
REQUIREMENTS


The following are required for all applicants:

Prior Experience in Accounting
Demonstrated ability to produce accurate results
Ability to explain concepts behind a reconciliation
Wllingness to take on additional responsibilities to help the team
Ability and willingness to take ownership of several accounts for regular econciliations
As stated above, Auto industry experience is preferred.
