Duties and Responsibilities:

Design and implement new business opportunities for Pharmacy
Co-lead business development and marketing to expand specialty pharmacy services
Administer a program to target, recruit, and sign current VHA and UHC hospitals to participate in the Pharmacy Program
Direct and execute a rapid implementation program to bring up new VHA and UHC members on the Pharmacy Program
Coordinate Pharmacy input and provide assistance in recruiting and retaining members
Monitor and recommend measures to address the market competitiveness of Novation’s Pharmacy programs vs. other GPOs
Design, direct, and execute a semi-annual, on-site training program for 25 new pharmacy directors and buyers from VHA and UHC hospitals
REQUIREMENTS
Additional Qualifications

Registered pharmacist with hospital pharmacy experience preferred (PharmD or MS in pharmacy preferred, or MBA or MS in healthcare profession)
Knowledge of developing new business opportunities and marketing
Ability to lead work groups effectively
Good writing and presentation skills
Persuasive, results-oriented, analytical team player, with a high level of integrity
Approximately 25% to 30% travel required
