Contract Manager

The position maintains files, records and copies of contracts in an orderly and efficient manner. The incumbent will use a variety of resources to accomplish these day-to-day tasks, including GPO (Group Purchasing Organization) contracts and other contract comparison services to which HealthSouth subscribes. In partnership with various levels of system management, the Contract Manager must be responsive to the changing needs of the organization while driving down acquisition cost, and continuing to provide excellent customer service.The successful candidate will have exemplary interpersonal, organizational and negotiating skills. This incumbent needs to understand how to develop and integrate systems and processes into an organization so the organization's structure can run smoothly and efficiently. Working knowledge of the Uniform Commercial Code, business law and contract law. Incumbent must be able to draft contracts, research legal information, manage confidential documents, maintain logs and must be able to utilize various equipment necessary to perform job duties. Self-motivated, self-directed, and self-managed.
