Business Analyst

Volt Technical Resources is seeking a Business Analyst to create traceability metrics for business requirements & log business requirements/will also track triage (a daily call in for system errors). Will also track performance metrics such as cycle time, process cycle time, quantity, quality and MS Project (high preference). Will track status of the teams projects.Need someone for Scheduling Project which is a capital funded project. Currently they do not have an automated system for construction work & meter work to process procedures/track communication. They are using an off the shelf system they are writing procedure for.Please consider the following position, and respond by following the submittal directions near the bottom of the posting. Requirements:

MS Word (requirement). MS Access (requirement). Will pull report info, validate reports and will not create queries.MS Excel (requirement): Create traceability metrics for business requirements & log business requirements. Will also track triage (a daily call in for system errors). Will also track performance metrics such as cycle time, process cycle time, quantity, quality and MS Project (high preference). Will track status of the teams projects.Visio (preference) or other process mapping software.MS PowerPoint (requirement): Must be able to create, revise but will not give presentations. At least 5 years experience with technical and process improvement projects. Experience managing self in the development of process and metrics analysis, reporting development, data management.Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics or related field or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.The candidate must possess the demonstrated ability to perform moderately complex quantitative analysis with the ability to gather, document, analyze and draw conclusions on data and information.The candidate will possess five to seven years of experience in the field of analysis.
