Associate Manager, Communications

The ideal candidate is a communications generalist, with knowledge and experience across a broad spectrum of traditional public relations and marketing communications. This individual should have demonstrated experience in client service and working on multiple projects or accounts simultaneously. Knowledge of and experience with local media and familiarity with promoting special events campaigns, handling event logistics and community programs is a strong asset.Must pay attention to detail, be able to manage multiple activities, and describe for volunteers ADA's vision of successful events. Must have experience in working with people of diverse backgrounds from many employment and socio economic backgrounds. Knowledge of (insert community area) communities is a plus.Salary low $30's to start depending on demonstrated qualifications and or experience.BA degree or equivalent related experience.
Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Must be willing to work some evenings and weekends.
Must have access to an automobile
Ability to lift 35-40 pounds
REQUIREMENTS
Must pay close attention to details, be able to manage multiple activities, and describe ADA's vision of successful events to volunteers.
Familiarity with fundraising events is strongly preferred.
