Description

The position will provide support and maintain test environment configurations of J2EE based applications under the BEA WebLogic, Unix, and Windows platforms. The position requires strong interaction between application development, hardware/software support areas, and Business areas.



Job Responsibilities

Support of hardware and software infrastructure for a large-scale test environment including Solaris System Administration for Apache Web and BEA WebLogic application servers.

Application support for Windows NT/2000/XP based systems.

Partners with engineering, operations, and application development groups to determine optimal test environment configurations and processes while ensuring availability of applications for testing.

REQUIREMENTS


5+ years experience of UNIX system administration with AIX and Solaris Operating systems.



Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required, while professional certificates (e.g., AIX/Solaris, Microsoft) are a plus.



Strong problem determination skills.



Provide leadership on project teams to ensure timely deliverables, knowledge transfer, and mentoring.



Excellent communication and project management skills.
