Senior Corporate Accountant

We are currently assisting a publicly traded software company in Irvine with a Senior Corporate Accounting position. This role is a six month consulting project focusing on assisting in analysis and consolidation of worldwide subsidiaries' financial statements, assisting with the monthly close process including consolidation of foreign and domestic subsidiaries, performing extensive analytical review on results of operations at both a subsidiary and corporate level, and working on various special projects.
REQUIREMENTS
- A Bachelor's Degree in accounting and finance required. CPA or MBA, preferred.
- 4-5 years of working experience in an international corporate environment.
- In-depth technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP required.
- ERP financial applications experience is a must, Oracle Applications version 11.03 or later, preferred.
- An understanding of SFAS 52 foreign exchange accounting rules is highly desirable.
- Position requires excellent communication skills.
