Performance Measurement Data Validation Team Leader

Hours/Schedule: 8:00 AM -- 5:00 PM Description: Summary: Team Leader position coordinates workload for the team and allocates sufficient resources to meet deadlines and to meet Service Level Agreements. In order to be successful in this position, a complete working knowledge of the related systems, processing, functions, and interfaces must be maintained. Handles most complex account assignments for performance data validation and sees complex issues through to resolution.Details:
Coordinates workload for the performance validation and reporting team and allocates sufficient resources to meet deadlines and Service Level Agreements related to accurate and timely performance return calculations in support of business lines and clients needs including: manager composites, client performance statements, and extracts.

Provides assistance to team members by identifying and resolving problems and escalating issues as necessary.

Handles most complex account assignments for data validation and performance reporting.

Designs and provides training as needed.

Prepares / updates procedures manuals.Provides review of work produced by team members and performs such testing of data as needed. Critically evaluates work flow processes and recommends improvements as appropriate.Provides service/support, and problem resolution for internal and external clients' contacts and service partners in a responsive manner. Takes initiative to make recommendations to meet their needs.Communicates effectively and openly with all levels within the organization. Interacts professionally with external contacts.Participates in various projects as assigned. Participates in interviewing job candidates for team and recommends selection. Produces most complex performance, statistical, and production reports.Responsible for team building, growth and development of staff.
Job Requirements
Job Requirements: B.S. in Accounting/Finance/Business OR 4 years equivalent work experience or performance measurement training. Knowledge of investment securities and processing.In addition, 2 years experience in performance analysis, portfolio valuation or investments including but not limited to: attribution, risk measures and metrics, various rates of return calculations. Knowledge of GIPS standards preferred.Demonstrates strong level of proficiency in the use of personal computers and software packages (such as Microsoft Office) as well as a strong level of proficiency in working within a mainframe system.
