Performance Analyst

The main mandate of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Department is to look across and within risk disciplines (credit, interest rate risk, operational risk, etc.) to provide a comprehensive perspective with respect to the identification, measurement, reporting, management and strategic direction of Risk within the Bank in order to more effectively participate in and coordinate bank-wide management (mitigate, absorb or transfer) and measurement of risk in the pursuit of the long term enhancement of shareholder value. This perspective is to be delivered, in a relevant format, to decision makers at all levels within the bank to ensure a unified approach to the risk inherent in future known and unknown events. In any case, ERM is to pursue or establish banking industry "best practice" in order to provide a competitive advantage to the bank.
REQUIREMENTS
* 2 - 4 years of experience in a risk/ finance/ accounting related discipline in the financial services industry
Understanding of and experience with evolving US and global banking regulation (especially Basel II) is preferred
Solid interpersonal, communication and personal organizational skills, an ability to work within a team environment and independently

Education and/or Certifications:
A bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field. MBA in Finance or equivalent in the form of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) is preferred.
Technical skills and abilities:

Strong analytical/quantitative skills
Proficient with Microsoft office
Training / Knowledge in Statistics/risk modeling is a plus

Working Conditions:
Flexibility in respect to hours as business needs demand. Some travel required.
