City of Hope National Medical Center has an opportunity for a seasoned Manager of Finance. Reporting to the Vice President, the Manager will provide administrative direction and coordination of operational budgets, direct use of funds and monitor fiscal operations.

Responsibilities include:

-Develop, monitor and evaluate other financial metrics of Development Group. Implement COH and Development Group policies and guidelines as they relate to budget and fiscal operations.

-Direct and coordinate budget preparation for the Development Group; consult with appropriate personnel to determine policies guidelines and program changes; prepare and distribute budget and financial operations information.

-Maintain interface with departments and COH campus to ensure compliance with established budgets and operational plans to investigate variances and recommend solutions, and to develop long-range financial plans.

-Direct financial analyses of major programs, new initiatives, and capital projects.

-Collect, analyze and interpret financial data as requested by higher management; review financial analysis and business plans for reasonableness.

-Provide information to various professional and appropriate COH staff concerning fiscal operations.

REQUIREMENTS
Requires a Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field. Requires a minimum of 8 years related business or administrative experience to acquire competence in applying general accounting principles, personnel practices and coordination of major administrative functions or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
