Lease-up Specialist

Formed in 1986, American Property Management, Inc. (APMI) has developed and built over 62 properties valued close to $1 billion. APMI is active in 10 western states. We are currently seeking an experienced Lease-Up Specialist, who will be committed to the same level of operational excellence, and will represent our company as a top-level leasing professional for our newest multi-family residential communities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Assist in setting up the Temporary Leasing Office during construction

· Research and compile area marketing data

· Recommend sales and marketing campaigns to the Sales Manager based on current market trends

· Be the first point of contact for prospective residents

· Thorough and diligent follow-up of all leads

· Convert telephone and internet inquiries into qualified traffic

· Maintain a 50% closing ratio with all walk-in traffic

· Set up new resident files, complete lease paperwork, and computer entry for all new residents

· Other duties as assigned by Sales Manager

QUALIFICATIONS:
· Minimum 2 years high-volume residential leasing experience

· Minimum 3 years customer service experience

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· General Office skills, proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel

· Ability to work well independently

· Prefer Bachelor’s degree

· Willingness to travel as needed for training, etc.
