Job Responsibilities:
Place outbound calls to appointed Golden Rule producers to:


Contact insurance producers
Identify each individual insurance producer's unique needs
Meet Broker's specific needs with Golden Rule Products/services
Quote a live case for the Broker to demonstrate Golden Rule's products and benefits
Compare Golden Rule to Broker's current carriers
Gain agreement from Broker to place application with GR
Advise the broker on the appropriate GR products to meet the brokers' clients specific needs
Help producer write first application with Golden Rule
Identify and gather names of other insurance brokers in the area.
Other Duties as assigned.
Secondary Responsibilities:
Travel to meet with Brokers in targeted geographic areas as needed
Promote Golden Rule to Brokers at associations, conventions and seminars as needed
Conduct Golden Rule seminars and webinars with brokers as needed
Senior Brokerage Account Manager will assist Call Center Manager with peer coaching and monitoring

Technical Skills:


Sales skills/experience preferred, but not required


Must enjoy a competitive environment


Must be able to follow sales call guidelines and directives


Must enjoy a call center environment (dialing phone, working through screens, closing sales)


Must pass product tests after training according to Company standards


Must be able to gather facts and make recommendations based on judgment


Bilingual a plus


Interpersonal Skills:


Oral/ Communication Skills - Must be able to speak clearly, concisely and communicate ideas accurately for the purpose of persuading brokers to become licensed on the phone and in person


Organizational Skills - Must be able to organize and plan work activities and follow-up with brokers regularly


Must have a high level of motivation to achieve personal & departmental goals


Must be able to handle rejection from brokers


Required Education/Experience/Licenses:


College degree preferred, but not required


Insurance background a plus
